We finally moved to Nashville on Monday! It was a crazy, tiring day, but a few hours of hard work and a packed 22 foot trailer later (yes...22 feet.), we were moved into our new home!
It. is. wonderful. No more hour+ commutes to and from work, no more packing an overnight bag to stay with my parents and NO MORE BOWLING GREEN! (kind of.) Man, I love this place.
We are starting off our first Nashvillian weekend right by gonig to see the fabulous Jeremy Lister play at Exit/In with my sister and her boyfriend. And NEXT weekend De Novo Dahl is playing the Mercy Lounge! FOR FREE! I have been a fan of both artists for years and I haven't been able to see them perform in forever! I am pumped!!
We did make a trip back to the BG on Thursday, though. As previously posted, Tyler played witha band called Easy Street at Tidball's on Thursday. They did so great!! In the years I've known/dated/been married to Tyler, I've never got to see him perform before. Can you say...proud wife?? I was yelling and screaming and maybe even embarrassing him a little. :) He did such a great job. He is hands down the most amazing, wonderful and talented man in the world. :) Not biased. :)
After the first set, someone yelled "we love the drummer!" really loud! And it wasn't me! Or any of my friends or relatives! (i know, because i didn't have any there...)

I hope to be able to update more. We don't have cable/internet at our apartment yet so the only opportunity I have to get online is at work, or if we go somewhere with wi-fi. But anyway, if you're in or around Nashville, and you want to hang out, call me. Because I live here now. And i can hang out. :)
